Oxbow Record Cover

Oxbow is the greatest band in the world. I think this has been proved in a peer-reviewed journal. They asked me to design a cover for their European seven inch called Lover Ungrateful. Their music is very expansive - big and wide and bright and powerful. It shimmers. It's hard to really get at with language. Which is the reason I love it so much I guess. I wanted to the cover art to reflect the unspeakable, without any graphic representation. To avoid over-explaining it, here it is:

They were happy with it. I am too. It is very exciting to work for your favorite band. Never heard Oxbow? Well then. I recommend this. Also, you can buy a copy of Lover Ungrateful here. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Then the band asked me to design a T-shirt based on the cover art. I didn't say no.
