Different Fur Mural My friend Patrick Brown, owner of the legendary Different Fur recording studio, asked me to create murals for two of the studio's walls. My first thought was, I don't do that. But over drinks at the Lexington Club next door, he convinced me. The walls in question were pretty hideous, so I felt it was my duty as an artist.
I put together a sketch using 48 patterns or wallpaper, cut into 6" squares, and assembled as a slow gradiant going from dark to light. |

The Second Wall With the first wall basically done, I started to think about the other. This one was curved in two directions, adding numerous challanges. I wanted to acknowledge the odd shape of the wall, so I desiged this: |
