Spirit Animal Flag

The Gray Kid is a fantastic singer/rapper/performer/songwriter/renaissance man based out of LA. And significantly cooler than I could ever hope to be. As he was putting together his live band, Spirit Animal, he asked me to design a flag that would represent the band and be used live and on promotional material. I dove into Vexillology for a time and, after much study and many versions, I developed this:

It's a traditional TriColor in very non-traditional dark blue and black, with a pictorial representation of a Fibonacci sequence. The significance and beauty of Fibonacci numbers is wonderful and worth reading about, if you are not already devoted. Gray was very happy with the design and produced flags that he uses on stage:
